UCLA Administration is inviting staff to recognize colleagues who exemplify the university’s core principles by submitting nominations for the next round of the True Bruin Values Awards. Applications are now open.
The awards, which are given each spring and fall, honor Administration employees who demonstrate integrity, excellence, accountability, respect and service — the foundational values that guide UCLA’s work and culture. Three awards are given each cycle. Recipients are celebrated for contributions that strengthen their departments, support colleagues and advance the university's mission through everyday actions that often go unnoticed.
Nominations come directly from within UCLA Administration, giving staff the opportunity to spotlight peers who consistently go above and beyond in their roles. Whether through exceptional customer service, creative problem‑solving, mentorship or efforts that foster a positive and inclusive workplace, nominees reflect the best of what it means to be a True Bruin.
UCLA Administration leaders emphasize that the award is an important way to acknowledge the dedication and professionalism that drive the division’s success. Staff are encouraged to take a moment to consider colleagues whose work embodies the True Bruin ethos and submit a nomination for the upcoming cycle.
The deadline for spring applications is Tuesday, March 31.
