Sarah Dundish stepped into her new role as associate vice chancellor for UCLA Housing & Hospitality on Aug. 5, following an extensive nationwide search. Dundish brings more than 20 years of progressive leadership experience in UCLA Housing & Hospitality. She most recently served as director of administration and chief of staff, where she was a key strategic advisor and helped guide an auxiliary enterprise that generated nearly $550 million annually and supported housing and hospitality services for more than 25,000 students, faculty, staff and guests.

In her previous positions, Dundish provided executive leadership across enterprise planning, financial strategy, organizational effectiveness and decision‑making for the UC system’s largest housing and hospitality operation. She has supported capital planning and portfolio strategy, advanced organizational integration and cross‑functional planning, and led high‑profile institutional initiatives that strengthened alignment and operational performance across the department.

A UCLA alumna, Dundish began her connection to Housing & Hospitality as an undergraduate employee while completing her history degree. After graduating in 2005, she joined the department full time and held roles including assistant manager, residence hall manager and area manager for housing operations. She later advanced to assistant director, associate director and director for housing services before assuming her most recent leadership position in 2019.
