The Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT) is seeking public feedback on two upcoming projects that will reshape Westwood Boulevard, a key corridor connecting UCLA, Westwood Village, the Wilshire Corridor and major transit lines, including the Metro E Line and the future D Line stations.
Community members who regularly use Westwood Boulevard are encouraged to learn more about this effort and complete a brief survey to help inform infrastructure improvements that will enhance safety and accessibility for pedestrians, cyclists, public transit riders and other road users. Those who complete the survey by Wednesday, Dec. 31, will be entered into a drawing for a $50 gift card.
Survey results will help guide the following efforts:
Project 1 (two phases)
Enhancements to Westwood Boulevard between Le Conte Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard (pre-Olympics)
Enhancements to Westwood Boulevard between Santa Monica Boulevard and Exposition Boulevard (post-Olympics)
Project 2
Upgrades to Ohio Avenue between Westgate Avenue and Westwood Boulevard
The participation and partnership of the UCLA community will help LADOT create a safer, more accessible transportation corridor for the UCLA and Westwood community —today and for generations to come.
