As we look ahead to what is next for UCLA and for UCLA Administration, Administrative Vice Chancellor Michael Beck reflects on two significant leadership transitions that mark both an ending and a beginning for our organization.

When it comes to energy efficiency and environmentally friendly design, UCLA leads the UC with 72 LEED-certified buildings, including 21 at the highest level, Platinum. Driving the success are project managers, groundskeepers, the energy services group and others in Facilities Management.

For the 8th consecutive year, UCLA has secured a spot on the annual list of the nation's top workplaces for commuters, offering employees and students benefits for biking, carpooling, and public transit that meet a national standard of excellence. 

As UCLA continues to grow and welcome increasing numbers of students, faculty, staff and visitors, campus officials are reinforcing a simple but critical safety measure: all vehicles and personal electric mobility devices must travel at or below 20 miles per hour on campus roads.

The UCLA Central Ticket Office (CTO) is reminding Bruins of the many ways they can take advantage of upcoming events and attractions — some at discounted rates, a longstanding benefit of working at UCLA.
