Alyssa Leiva • April 2021 – September 2022

Alyssa started at UCLA in 2003 in the Division of Laboratory Animal Medicine. Her various roles included providing employee and customer training, managing the diagnostic lab, quality assurance, and safety/emergency response team. She also worked at a biomedical products startup for two years in San Diego. She returned to UCLA in 2017, as a project manager for Laboratory Safety at EH&S and has adapted to meet the needs of the department. She originally studied Fine Arts and received her B.S. in Psychology.
