Bio
Mieko is the Disability Management Assistant for Insurance & Risk Management. She works with injured employees and their departments to assist with facilitating the interactive process during the first 90 days of an occupational injury. This includes managing the Transitional Return to Work Agreement (TRTW) program. Mieko has worked for the university since 2011 and has been in her current position since 2022. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University and is currently working towards her Certified Professional in Disability Management (CPDM) certification from the Insurance Educational Association (IEA).
