This annual event is an opportunity for the UCLA community to meet and learn from our campus experts and external vendors so that they can stay informed, prepared and protected.

UCLA Deputy Chief Sustainability Officer Bonny Bentzin and students at the Earth Day Extravaganza, a festival organized by the USAC Facilities Commission in collaboration with UCLA Sustainability and other partner organizations. The event, which featured various booths and activities, highlighted work underway to improve UCLA’s campus and the greater LA area in terms of sustainability and environmentalism.

UCLA Transit Planner Zenia Chamorro distributes T-shirts during UCLA’s annual Bike Month. Held each May, this annual event is a time to celebrate cycling by sharing resources, giving away prizes and hosting events including pit stops, mobile repair station pop-ups and a special luncheon. 

Kelly Aruda, IT governance lead, and Aivanna De Villa, IT governance specialist, attended UCLA’s annual BruinTech spring conference held on May 29. Held at Royce Hall, this day-long conference inspired attendees to reflect on how our community of technologists contribute to UCLA’s mission by improving systems, streamlining processes and designing inclusive, user-centered services.
