Lizett Martinez, director of custodial and grounds, and Chris Woo, grounds supervisor, have been recognized for their commitment to their work, their department and the university. They are the most recent recipients of the True Bruin Value Award.

From inspections, industrial hygiene service requests, onsite investigations and hazardous waste consolidation, to food safety inspections, administrative functions, outreach and education, EH&S plays a critical role on campus.

The UCLA Police Department recently conducted a targeted safety enforcement operation along Bruin Walk and near the engineering buildings, two high‑traffic corridors where pedestrian safety concerns are frequently reported.
