Professional & Educational Background: Jordan has worked at UCPD since 2016, after graduating from UCLA with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Portuguese Linguistics. As a Police Sergeant, Jordan supervises, mentors, and teaches UCPD sworn and non-sworn personnel. He also develops trainings for personnel and manages multiple UCPD programs. Jordan serves as a UCPD Mentor, is in the Honor Guard, Trains in Defensive Tactics, is a First Aid Instructor, and does operations planning for Protective Service Details. He began his career as a Patrol Officer, working in various capacities including Police Detective, Field Training Officer, and as part of the Systemwide Response Team. Jordan has received the Life Saving Award between the years of 2019-2022, was awarded Officer of the Year in 2021, and the UCLA Lifesaving Medal in 2022.
