Professional & Educational Background: Tanya has been a career employee with UCLA for 24 years (as of January 2024) and she has always enjoyed working with people across various campus departments. The first half of her career was spent in client-facing positions as a reservation agent, front desk agent, and sales manager. The second half of her career has been focused on analyzing trends, reporting, and management of events and operations. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Sociology from UCLA and worked on campus for four years while a student. In addition to her degree, she has participated in multiple professional development programs and trainings and completed the Campus Human Resources Professional Development Program (PDP). Tanya has also been a mentor for the UCLA Housing & Hospitality (H&H) Mentoring Program and served as President of UCLA Staff Assembly.
