Professional & Educational Background: Yuri earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Loyola Marymount University, Los Angeles. She also earned a Professional Designation in Human Resources Management from UCLA Extension, Los Angeles and holds a Society for Human Resources Management-Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification. She has been with UCLA for nine years and began at CHR in accounting, payroll, and personnel positions. Prior to UCLA, Yuri worked as a Marketing Coordinator for Mark’s CPA Review Course partnering with various Southern California universities and colleges, was the Visitor Services Manager for the Japanese American National Museum in the Little Tokyo Historic District of downtown Los Angeles, and was a Human Resources Specialist for UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine’s Venice Family Clinic.
