OfficeEats has arrived
A new way to add delicious and healthy food and snacks to your meetings is now available. OfficeEats, a service created and managed by H&H Conferences & Catering, was piloted last fall and is now scheduling deliveries across the UCLA campus.
OfficeEats was created out of a desire to offer small groups the ability to conveniently order food for their meetings and events that is similar to that enjoyed by UCLA catering clients, but with a lower $75 minimum order. In addition, this new service directly benefits students because generated revenue from OfficeEats is directed back into the general fund that supports student housing and programming.
Menu items, which are prepared fresh daily in The Study at Hedrick kitchen, include salads, sandwiches, bagels, pastries, desserts and drinks. Orders must be placed two days in advance and scheduled deliveries are made between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. In addition, there are no delivery fees. Payments are currently accepted via office recharge code.
Epicuria at Covel coming soon
After a successful Phase 1 renovation, the Covel dining hall is preparing for the final stage of its make-over. The dining hall will close at the beginning of Spring Break 2020 and reopen in the fall as Epicuria at Covel.
Following the renovation, the space will feature a chic marketplace atmosphere with cozy seating and modern lighting, as well as expanded study and socializing space. Additional charging outlets will be installed and full wi-fi service will be available. Adjustable lighting will also be installed in each of the main rooms.
The menu will remain Mediterranean-inspired, a concept that has proven to be popular at UCLA, and feature fresh, local and sustainable meats and produce. The traditional single salad bar will be replaced with a variety of salads being offered at various stations throughout the dining hall. In addition, Epicuria will offer fresh pasta made from scratch, an advancement the culinary team is excited to share with its guests.
