Bio

Jess is the Assistant Manager-Employee & Labor Relations for Campus Human Resources. Jess provides professional advice and counsel to management on employee performance and corrective actions including discipline and dismissal, conducts workplace investigations, and prepares responses to complaints and grievances. She also provides guidance regarding personnel policies and collective bargaining agreements. Jess has proudly served the University since 2013 and is honored to be an advisor to the Equity Council, as well as part of Administration Leadership 2029’s “Work from Home Management Solutions” project team, which publishes the campus’s “Monthly Management Tips.” She holds her Senior Professional in Human Resources (“SPHR”) from the HR Certification Institute, a Human Resources Management Certificate from UCLA Extension, and her Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from UCLA.
