Jorge Cherbosque, PhD, is the director of the Emotional Intelligence & Diversity Institute in Los Angeles, California and a counseling psychologist and co-director of the UCLA Staff & Faculty Consultation Center. Dr. Cherbosque has co-directed the UCLA Staff & Faculty Counseling Center for over the past two decades, as well as been a speaker, trainer, and consultant for various Fortune 500 companies. Dr. Cherbosque’s approach is geared toward four interrelated goals: (1) to impart at least one practical idea that participants can apply to their family and home life, (2) to impart at least one practical idea that participants can apply to their work life, (3) to impart at least one practical idea for participants’ own self-development, and (4) to create an environment of safety and joy, as he believes that real learning best occurs in such an environment.
