Professional & Educational Background: Jo Anne says she has worn many hats and played diverse roles within the UCLA organization. Throughout her tenure, she has worked in areas ranging from project management and strategic planning to human resources, payroll, and finance. Her journey began as a Human Resources (HR) & Payroll representative for Transportation Services, where she spent four years building a solid foundation in these areas. Motivated by a desire to expand her knowledge and skills, she pursued an opportunity with Raytheon's Program Executive Office, leading strategic and tactical HR initiatives. After two years away, her passion for UCLA ultimately drew her back to the institution where she took a position within the HR & Payroll Center for Administration. There she progressed from managerial positions to an assistant director role and contributed to the development and execution of key HR strategies. Recognizing the intersection of her skills in HR and Information Technology (IT), she successfully transitioned to Facilities Management, where she could leverage her expertise in both fields. She feels the transition allowed her to make a meaningful impact in utilizing technology to drive HR processes and optimize organizational efficiency.
Jo Anne has completed the UCLA Anderson Executive Education Program and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix.
